Welcome to our website!

Everything is changing. Nothing stays the same. People throughout the world find challenges everyday. Challenges in life, @ home and @ work. Today’s and tomorrow’s question is:

'How do you adapt to change?'

Koru Life Balance aims to help support and develop (like the Maori Koru) people, teams and organisations in their daily challenges. It’s our mission to help others unfold themselves. Referring to the colours of the universal elements: water (ocean green), earth (ochre), air (light blue) and fire (orange red), we make symbolic bridges to our Life Balance programmes. Why waste energy and talent by learning tricks or skills far away from human natural preferences? We believe that people prosper most by staying close to their own nature. We offer tailor made and customised programmes enabling you to get a new (= Koru) balance in life: @ home and @ work … and you’ll see: many issues overlap.

Balance @ home

While experiencing the many challenges of life, people can find it hard to figure out things all by themselves. They can have doubts when overwhelmed by these challenges and won’t necessarily know which step to take next. It can feel like circling around, like a dog chasing its own tail. People in those situations thrive with a professional Life Coach, counselling, helping and guiding them through difficult periods in life. Koru Life Balance offers Transformational Life Coaching in a one-to-one setting.

Balance @ work

Employers, team leaders, managers and employees all seek knowledge about their strengths, areas for development and preferences through workplace interactions.
This knowledge reveals the roles they are best suited for and will enjoy most. The challenge for managers and leaders of organisations is increasingly to explore these topics with their staff. We offer a combined and transformational approach for individuals, teams and the organisation as a whole:
the Three Development Areas Strategy.

Migrant and Expat Support

As settlers in New Zealand ourselves, we experienced and overcame psychological and practical struggles. We support migrants, expats and international students with various programmes like Find A Job, Start Your Own Business, and Settlement Support.

A little history for those who want to know more about the meaning of Koru: The koru is the Maori name given to the newborn, unfurling fern frond and symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. It is an integral symbol in Maori carving and tattoos. The koru is an iconic symbol of New Zealand flora.
